1、 What is BLV?
The B series is classified as a wiring system, so it starts with B and has a voltage of 300/500V
V is PVC, which is plastic
L is the code for aluminum core
R means (soft), to achieve softness, it means increasing the number of conductors

2、 Usage characteristics of BLV
1. When laying, the temperature of the wire should not be lower than 0 ℃. During normal use, the maximum rated temperature of the conductor is 70 ℃. Allow bending radius; If the outer diameter (D) of the wire is less than 25 mm, it shall not be less than 4D; For wires with an outer diameter (D) of 25mm or more, it should not be less than 6D;
2. Finished insulated wires and finished electrical wires can withstand the specified AC voltage test after being placed in room temperature water at 20 ± 5 ℃ for at least ± 5 ℃ for 1 hour.
3. Electric wires have good electrical insulation performance, scientific performance, and non flammability, reliable quality, and are convenient and durable.
3、 The difference between BLV, BV, and BVR
1. BV is copper single core wire, BVR is copper multi-core wire, BLV is aluminum core wire.
2. Diameter
Taking 2.5mm 2 as an example:
BV is available in two types: one with a diameter of 1.78mm and seven with a diameter of 0.68
BLV has a diameter of 1.78mm
BVR consists of 19 pieces with a diameter of 0.41mm
3. In terms of price, aluminum core wires are relatively cheaper because copper is more expensive than aluminum.
4. In terms of weight, copper core wires are heavier than aluminum core wires when the model is the same.
5. In terms of current carrying capacity, 1 mm 2 copper is equivalent to 3 mm 2 aluminum, such as BV-10mm 2, while the resistivity of BLV-10mm 2 is 3.08. So using copper is better in terms of performance than using aluminum, and it is also more resource efficient.

6、 Scope of application of BLV wires
1. Suitable for fixed installation of power devices with AC rated voltage of 450/750V and below, namely general purpose single core unshielded cables, which are commonly used insulated wires and home decoration wires in our daily lives. It is the most commonly used type of wire. Has characteristics such as acid and alkali resistance, oil resistance, moisture resistance, and mold resistance.
2. Scope of application: Used for household appliances, instruments and meters, power lighting, mostly used for connecting household lines in rural areas, and mostly for temporary use in engineering and commercial applications.
